- Sun November 15th from 10.30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

In the online mini retreat:

  • let us bravely and gently free our voice

  • let's discover the healing power of hum and activate our self-healing nerve (more on this below).

  • we strengthen our diaphragm and thus come back to our center.

Working with our voice and breathing is especially precious in this situation.
So many voices around us, most of them currently characterized by fear, insecurity and isolation, that burdens many people. The challenge is to be creative in order to discover new ways so that humanity can be reborn. A human race that protects and honors the dignity of life in all areas.

All classes can be booked together in the sliding scale mode * from CHF 90 to CHF 144 (students from CHF 70 +).
If you are in financial straits, you can contact me.

Singing, breathing and our self-healing nerve

A balanced nervous system is essential to live this time well. If we can plunge into the calm again and again, then we activate our parasympathetic nervous system. Why is that so important? Because this part of the nervous system is responsible for the involuntary control of most internal organs and thus ensures strong health with good defenses.

The vagus nerve is involved in the regulation of almost all internal organs. It can develop an enormous healing effect. The vagus nerve is the guiding nerve in the parasympathetic nervous system.
Increased vagus activity reduces anxiety!

Activation of the vagus through singing

Our vagus nerve goes through our vocal cords and also our inner ear. As a result, anything that makes our vocal cords or our eardrum vibrate has a calming effect. Humming, singing and long exhalations activate our parasympathetic nervous system, the vowels A, O, U have a particularly calming effect. That is why mankind has enjoyed the mantra OM for millennia.

Benefits of Stimulating the Vagus:

  • Reduction of the sympathetic fight or flight reflex

  • Calming the cardiovascular system, lowering blood pressure

  • Reinforcement of regenerative processes and muscle relaxation

  • Reducing inflammation

  • Chronic pain regression

  • Opening of the memory, which is difficult to access under stress

  • Acceleration of gastrointestinal transit

  • Improve creativity thanks to slowing down brain waves

  • Shift chest breathing into deep abdominal breathing
